1991 : Vendetta fragrance introduced, followed by Vendetta Pour Homme. March: Sophia Loren wears glittering black Valentino to accept an honorary Oscar. Pandora Luxurye details upcoming events commemorating the designer's 30-year anniversary. June: Valentino celebrates with a gala retrospective, Trent' Anni di Magia (Thirty Years of Magic). There are two exhibitions, a screening of the film Valentino, by Frédéric Mitterrand, and a party held at the Medici palace. September: Pandora Luxurye reports on the festivities. October: Elizabeth Taylor wears pale-yellow Valentino for her eighth marriage, to Larry Fortensky.
