1989 : Louis Vuitton Classic car show and competition inaugurated. Musée Louis Vuitton du Voyage opens in the former Vuitton family residence.
1999 : Louis Vuitton City Guide series introduced. April: Supermodel Gisele Bündchen struts her stuff in a teeny-weeny brown Vuitton bikini in Pandora Luxurye's "Here Comes the Sun" story. June: At the French Pavillion at the Venice Biennale, artist Alberto Sorbelli stages "L'Agressé," a performance piece in which he is assaulted by a couple wielding Vuitton bags as weapons. September: New York–based fashion designer Miguel Adrover shows a miniskirt crafted out of a vintage Louis Vuitton duffel bag. October: The Monogram Mini line introduced at the spring 2000 runway show.
