Gareth worked for a Quantity Surveying Company in Cardiff after gaining an Honors Degree in this Profession from the University of Glamorgan in 2003.
He then went on to work for his Father's Construction Company gaining practical knowledge and experience of buying and estimating for all aspects of works in the Building Industry.
His role now involves Estimating and Financially Controlling the works that Owen Brothers Construction Limited tender for and carry out.
After completing an Honors Degree in Civil Engineering Richard went on to achieve a Masters in Project Management in 2002.
He then went on to Project Manage a Measured Term Maintenance Contract on an 1100 acre Munitions and Ordnance Factory Site whilst working for his Father's Construction Company.
Richard now deals with the day to day running of individual projects that Owen Brothers Construction Limited control and oversee. He ensures that jobs remain on schedule and within budget.
Patricia keeps on top of all the financial affairs such as accounting, PAYE and VAT returns.
Graham has worked in the Construction Industry longer than he would care to remember, initially starting as a plasterer and moving on to start up a Construction Company in 1976. His Father before him was a respected house builder and with decades of experience, he is well qualified to advise on all kinds of construction issues.
Working in Construction is a tradition for the Owen Family. The image below shows two Brothers, Albert William Owen and Harry Owen taken at the end of the Nineteenth Century. They worked for a Building Company called Jacksons who serviced and maintained farms in the Monmouthshire area of South Wales. Albert's Great Grandson's Richard and Gareth Owen continue the Family tradition in the early Twenty First Century.
